PFC Crawford E. Scott was a member of the Marine detachment aboard the battleship USS Arizona. He was aboard on 7 December 1941 when his ship was bombed and sunk by Japanese aircraft at the battle of Pearl Harbor.

Scott’s remains were never identified, and are believed to rest aboard the Arizona to this day.

  1. I heard his name my entire growing up life. He was my mom’s cousin. His grandmother and mine were sisters and my mother was so very proud of him and made sure all of us kids would never forget.
