Isolated grave of PFC Ernest Eugene Cromer (Company I, Third Battalion, 2nd Marines), killed in action on 20 November 1943.

Cromer’s original burial location was not known to his organization.

This grave was exhumed in March 1946. Cromer was identified by the 604th Quartermaster Graves Registration Company and reinterred in Lone Palm Cemetery Plot 1, Row 5, Grave 8.
