The isolated grave of a single unknown individual.
Very little is known about this grave, which was situated towards the eastern end of Beach Red One. It is not mentioned specifically in the report of the 604th Quartermaster Graves Registration Company. Any remains found here were ultimately identified, as there is no current Betio X-file associated with Cemetery 23.
